Provision of Musical Instrument Repair and Consultancy Service

The Department of Education's through the School of Instrumental Music (SIM) provides a central service that contributes to the delivery of the total music curriculum in schools. SIM achieves this by working collaboratively with Districts, School clusters and individual schools. SIM provides music service to more than 400 government schools, reaching nearly 15,000 students from year 3 to 12. As a central service provider the SIM can deliver instrumental music services effectively and efficiently.
A component of the services which the SIM offers to schools is an instrument loan, maintenance and repair services for approximately 4,000 loan instruments. In addition to the repair service, the successful Respondent(s) will be required from time to time to provide consultancy services.
