Macquarie Point - Phase 3 Archaeological Excavations

The excavation, recording, analysis and reporting of archaeological excavations at two sites at Macquarie Point, Hobart. The excavations are for both Aboriginal heritage material or items in a secondary or disturbed context, and historical (i.e., European) archaeological material. The excavation of primary context (in situ) Aboriginal heritage material or items is excluded from the tender and Permit P183 issued under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975.

The provision of civil contractor services for mechanical excavation is excluded from the tender and is the subject of a separate Request for Quotation.
