St Helens Slipway Expression of Interest Lease and/or Licence

The Site is located approximately 3km to the south east of the St Helens town centre, approximately 160km to the east of the City of Launceston and approximately 250km to the north east of the City of Hobart.

The site is located within the Break O’Day local government area and regulated under the Break O’Day Interim Planning Scheme 2013. The site is zoned part Environmental Management, part Port and Marine, and a portion of the property is affected by a Flood Prone Area overlay.

The 4,769m² site includes a timber jetty, several buildings including a concrete block clubhouse/chandlery, a vertical board office building with amenities and attached high span workshop to rear, an open paint storage shed, concrete and paved driveway, concrete hardstand and a slipway.

Former uses for the site include use as a boat building facility, slip yard, marine chandlery and sailing club, it is noted that there is some potential for shared use of the site.
