Description
Landgate require the provision of core network switch infrastructure to support connectivity for access switches, internal servers, and external connections to WAN and DMZ. Two (2) core switches and two (2) server access switches are required.
Capability for high availability and 10Gbps server connections is an immediate requirement, plus support for future initiatives such as 802.1x based port security and network virtualization.
Separation of internal server connectivity from core network switching is required via a separate pair of server access switches. These server access switches should support capability for converged data centre network features such as Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Data Center Bridging (DCB).
