Rottnest Island has an extensive coastal defence history that has been acknowledged as nationally significant and worthy of conservation. Conservation works to these cultural heritage assets has been and continues to be undertaken by the Rottnest Island Authority, as well as ongoing maintenance, remedial work and minor upgrades.
The proposed works consist of conservation / refurbishment works on houses within the Kingstown Heritage Precinct, Rottnest Island.
