Details
Description
A suitably qualified service provider is sought to deliver the five stages of the project below. Each stage comprises of one or more activities that include (but may not be limited to) the following:
1.Select Applicants. A public campaign, “Challenge Call”, to attract participants and ideas for smart climate ODC products and services. This process will be conducted via an EOI process. Eligible applicants will be invited to participate in a virtual Hackathon.
2.Run Hackathon. Delivery of a virtual Australia-SE Asia ODC hackathon to develop product use case concepts based on the ideas submitted in Stage 1 or generated from the hackathon. This stage will take a co-design approach by bringing together product developers/geospatial experts with South East Asia end users. Refined use case concepts will be assessed according to their feasibility and market potential. Top-ranked use case concepts will progress to Stage
3.Build prototypes. Top-ranked use case concepts will be provided with additional business support and technical coaching to advance to product prototype.
4.Consolidation workshop. Deliver a Consolidation Workshop that includes a showcasing event for viable prototypes. The workshop has two primary purposes: to showcase viable prototypes to an international audience, and to provide all project participants the opportunity to discuss the process, consider next steps for remaining use cases and future directions. The workshop should identify recommendations and actions to be undertaken by CSIRO, GA and the contractor to further enhance the successful delivery and completion of this project. Additional funding may be allocated to undertake certain actions, as agreed by all parties in Stage 5
5.Refinement activities. CSIRO, GA and the contractor to undertake additional tailoring, refinements and improvements to the EASI platform and prototype products, in line with the recommendations outlined in the Consolidation Workshop. This may include provision of additional targeted technical advice and business support to advance one or more prototypes to minimum viable product, and additional prototype showcasing.
