Enhanced Analytical Capability Solution

AUSTRAC is seeking to identify and engage one or multiple vendors to implement a strategic analytical solution, including advanced search tools, link/social network analysis, graphical analysis tools, geospatial analysis, temporal analysis, knowledge discovery and data-mining platforms, monitoring systems (including prioritisation), federated searching and data matching capabilities. AUSTRAC’s preference is that the solution is integrated (allowing analysts to move seamlessly between analytical tools).

The solution will enhance the analytical capability of AUSTRAC and its stakeholders (e.g. partner agencies). There are currently 35 agencies that have online access to AUSTRAC’s analytical systems and tools. These agencies will also have access to any new analytical solution deployed at AUSTRAC. The objective of the analytics solution is to deliver higher value financial intelligence in near real-time and better meet the needs of our stakeholders and the broader intelligence community.

AUSTRAC is also seeking to implement a case management and workflow system to ensure continuity of intelligence data across all Intelligence business units. The case management solution and workflow tool will enable a single repository of cases across business units and allow greater management visibility and workflow management of activities to produce improved quality intelligence products with reduced data collation and analysis effort.

Additionally, AUSTRAC is seeking to implement a portal solution to integrate AUSTRAC systems and for AUSTRAC stakeholders (internal and external).
