THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF WHYALLA (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the Preparation of a Master Plan for the Development of Whyalla’s Northern Coastline (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The purpose of the Whyalla’s Northern Coastline Master Plan project is to undertake research, assess and investigate, identify and assess options and incorporate into a plan of action that will maximise Whyalla’s Northern Coastline recreational and tourism potential. The project output will be a comprehensive Master Plan for the future development of the coastline which will form the base for longer term development of the area. The long term aim is to identify and develop high quality recreational and tourism infrastructure and activities that will increase utilisation of the precinct by residents of Whyalla and visitors to the region.

Consultants intending to submit a proposal will be required to attend a mandatory pre-tender briefing and site visit on THURSDAY 8 OCTOBER 2015. Briefing attendees have the option of being collected from Whyalla Airport at 1000hr or the Council Civic Centre, Darling Terrace, Whyalla at 1015hr. The briefing and site visit is scheduled to conclude at 1600hr with attendees delivered back to Council Civic Centre and Whyalla Airport (refer to 7.2 of Project Brief for further briefing details).
