Tika Tirka Management and Support Services

This project aims to procure culturally safe and relevant property management and support services for the Tika Tirka Student Accommodation (Tika Tirka) that contribute towards a range of South Australian Aboriginal Affairs Action Plan outcomes around Closing the Gap in Aboriginal education rates, employment outcomes and business opportunities.

The procurement has multiple objectives, including:

1. tenancy, property management and maintenance operations for the Tika Tirka site delivered by the supplier as head lessee of the premises
2. support services for Aboriginal residents from remote and outer regional locations as required
3. maintaining a safe living environment
4. development of revenue generating options via diverse sources (student scholarships, short-stay market rate guests, sponsors, philanthropic or other social investment sourcing, Indigenous business investment opportunities and others)
5. developing capability building of Aboriginal Business Enterprises (ABEs) and businesses with high Aboriginal employment where possible.
6. reporting outcomes.
