Grants for projects in occupational health and safety, rehabilitation and safe return to work.

Grants are available for projects that specifically target safe work, rehabilitation and safe return to work initiatives and contribute to WorkCover Corporation’s commitment to help South Australians make their workplace healthy, safe and innovative. The Corporation has identified a number of key priority areas. Applications that focus on one or more of these areas will be highly regarded: High-risk (SAfer) industries Small business Key hazards High-risk occupations Key mechanisms of injury Regional or community safe work approaches Young or new workers Expanding industry New industry The closing date for Expressions of Interest for grants over $40,000 is Friday 8 March 2002. Expressions of Interest for grants less than this amount may be submitted at any time. Information sessions for prospective grant applications will be held at WorkCover Corporation, 100 Waymouth Street, Adelaide, on: Monday 18 February from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and Tuesday 19 February from 10.00am to 12noon.
