AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS BLOOD SERVICES – UPGRADE STAGE 1

Registrations of interest are invited from trade contractors for work associated with the Stage 1 Upgrade at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, 301 Pirie Street, Adelaide. The work generally incorporates some demolition work, construction of a new plantroom over the existing roof on part steel platform with installation of some new plant and relocation of some existing plant, construction of a new 3 storey steel frame/concrete floor structure, provision of services to the plantroom and new structure, roofing and some external walling. No internal fitout of the 3 storey structure is included. Registration of interest is sought for those trades that do not require pre-qualification for DAIS as follows: Carpentry and Joinery Civil Work (including Paving) Concrete Construction (including excavation, Formwork Erection and Reinforcing) Demolition (including Asbestos Removal) Electrical – general (including Security and Telecommunications) Fire Protection Metal Work Painting Lightweight External/Internal Walling & Plastering Plumbing Roofing Structural Steel Erection (including fabrication) Registrants are required to submit the following information in brief:  details of the name, scope of work and cost of projects completed within the past 12 months  details of current work commitment including scope of works, contract value and anticipated completion  evidence of ability to work in a tight construction program and in an occupied building environment  information on proposed key personnel  any other information which may assist in the assessment of ability to execute and complete the works of this project. A shortlist of tenderers will be compiled based on registrations from those organisations that respond to this invitation to register interest and supplemented where appropriate from advice of the Project Team. Late registrations may not be considered. No registration will necessarily be accepted.
