Purchase of Containment Pods for Railway Patrol Vehicles

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is in a period of network expansion with a number of rail extensions due for completion within the next 2 years. Due to the greater expanse of the network there is a requirement for additional railway patrol vehicles in order to provide sufficient coverage. As such, additional vehicles are being added to the PTA?s fleet of leased vehicles. Upon receipt of these new vehicles, they do not come equipped with the containment pods as these are supplied and installed by the PTA prior to the vehicles going into service. It has therefore been identified that four pods will need to be purchased in order to be fitted to the new vehicles added to the fleet as well as for replacement of existing pods that are showing signs of wear and tear. The required Containment Pods should feature secure compartments to safely hold and transport detainees, prioritising their safety and ensuring legislative compliance during transit. These pods will house essential equipment, providing convenient and organised storage within the unit for quick access to tools necessary for efficient operations. Required specifications are: Standard subframe to fit Toyota Hilux;ADR LED tail lights;Internal LED POD lights;Wiring harness to vehicle connector.
