Description
The FPC is undertaking a resource level inventory throughout its Pinus radiata estate to ensure that the state supply contract arrangements can be met.
As a result, the FPC is seeking to acquire precise estimates of plantation characteristics (stocking, height, basal area, stand volume) and terrain elevation data for the plantation estate within the region described as the Blackwood Valley (approximately 12,500 ha of resource) using LiDAR technologies to support its resource inventory projects objectives.
This RFT calls for suitably qualified organisations to undertake a high resolution airborne LiDAR data acquisition survey and supply quality assured LiDAR-derived plantation characteristics and elevation data products of the type, accuracy and coverage described in the RFT.
