his investment will provide communication and extension activities to educate advisers and growers on the status and risks of fungicide resistance. It will upskill advisers and growers on integrated approaches to disease management to reduce the reliance and over-use of fungicides as the only means of control.

The communication and extension activities of this investment will complement and value-add to a range of GRDC R&D investments including the Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) and various surveillance, management, epidemiology knowledge and tools to manage crop disease programs, benchmarking resistance and managing Septoria tritici Blotch, Powdery Mildew, Leaf Rust and other diseases.
