Description
The Radio Systems Replacement – (RSR) Project is a major upgrade of the PTA’s existing radio system that will see the deployment of a new digital radio system for railway communications based on Long-Term Evolution (LTE) technology. The new radio system will initially support a standards-based mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) voice application and a broadband data capability for projects such as High-Capacity Signalling (HCS). RSR seeks to procure a Communications Engineering consultant with specialist expertise in Earthing and Bonding to provide support with engineering activities related to the Earthing and Bonding Design of the communications systems and specialist technical advice relating to PTA earthing and bonding principles and requirements.
