Burnside State High School - Outdoor Learning Area (Design & Construct)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Outdoor Learning Area
and Clay Court at Burnside State High School, located at 52 Blaxland Rd, Nambour QLD 4560, as part of the School Direct
delivery.

The proposed new structure contains an open courtyard with a storeroom and includes stormwater diversion to make way for
the new building. The position of the building is in the center of the school campus with limited site access and working space.

All works are to be completed by December 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
