Standing Offer Arrangement for the Provision of Image Digitisation Services

The State Library of Queensland (SLQ) has a requirement to capture original collection materials as a digital object in accordance with the SLQ Digital Standard 2 (version 3.01) to continue to meet its access and preservation requirements.

The State Library requires digital objects to be captured once and at the highest possible quality for long term preservation and sustainability. Digital object formats have been chosen by the State Library based on such factors as industry standards, sustainability, quality and functionality.

The Queensland Government through the State Libvary of Queensland is seeking to appoint an external Contractor to provide image digitisation services for an initial ICT Standing Offer Arrangement period of three (3) years (with options to extend), to supplement the State Library’s in-house capacity ensuring it meets its image digitisation targets for collection materials.
