The master plan for Dunwich (Goompi) will identify future development opportunities in the town, capable of promoting a more tourism-centric economy as championed by the North Stradbroke Island Economic Transition Strategy (ETS). This includes investigating areas for future residential, commercial, community, environmental and industrial land uses. The master plan will also contextualise other ETS initiatives and government actions being undertaken on Minjerribah. It is expected that the master plan will be accompanied by an implementation plan of priority projects and infrastructure needs to improve the functionality of Dunwich (Goompi) as the gateway to the island.
Through the scoping phase, the Steering Committee has identified several technical inputs required to inform and prepare the draft plan.

Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning is seeking a Supplier who will engage, coordinate and deliver the required inputs as part of a cohesive technical consortium. The consortium will provide technical input and help shape the development of both the draft and final Dunwich (Goompi) master plans.
