Description
The Department of Education and Training (DET) is establishing a Contract for the provision of a bespoke Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, made up of a Database and Communication Execution software.
A summary of the specifications and/or scopes of works, is as follows:
(a) Define functional and non-functional requirements; - the Supplier will define the functional and non-functional requirements for the solution. The Design phase will not begin until the functional and non-functional requirements for the solution are approved by Queensland Academies.
(b) Design; - integrate the QA-specific data management requirements into the software taking into consideration the complexities of how the data is captured and variety of ways it is applied.
(c) Build; - Build the system keeping QA informed with advances and discussing any potential evolutions in the design or functionality along the way.
(d) Install; - the system onto the QA network.
(e) Training; - provide face to face training for the core users of the system, and then be available for smaller group / 1-on-1 training for new users as and when needed. Providing user handbook and phone support.
(f) Maintain the system to ensure functionality remains highly effective.
(g) Manage licenses throughout renewals etc.

How many applicants and how many student records are you expecting this solution to handle?
Approximately 2000 existing records will need to be input and then expecting approx. 800+ new records annually.
What is the breakdown of users/user groups?
Users/User groups are defined in the specification document.
How many back-end administrators will use the system?
Up to 3 (assume this means people with the authority to access/change the design of the system).
How many teachers, deputy principals, principals, or other staff will need access to the CRM?
Up to 25.
