Description
The Track and Structures Branch of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is responsible for maintaining the safety and function of the Rail Track, Fencing and associated infrastructure. Part of its responsibility is ensuring the provision ongoing bridge infrastructure cathodic protection services as well as maintenance and inspection. Currently the only bridge with cathodic protection equipment installed is the Fremantle rail Bridge, however, the number of structures requiring this service may be expanded to include other structures within the metropolitan and possibly regional areas.
The PTA requires the services of a contractor to provide Bridge Infrastructure Cathodic Protection Services on an as and when required basis.
