Provision of Committee Room Audio Systems

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking to identify a solution for audio equipment within the Australian Parliament House (APH) multi-purpose committee rooms, with supportable digital audio technology.

The solution will replace and update the current analogue / digital audio production systems in 18 committee rooms providing digital audio directly to digital production systems.

This RFT is focussed on delivering solutions for:

• sound reinforcement capabilities in each committee room;
• audio production capabilities to capture, switch, mix, manage and distribute audio from proceedings conducted within the committee rooms;
• operator consoles implemented with the new audio production solution, ensuring optimum operator control of proceedings whilst addressing known occupational health and safety issues; and
• replacement of related legacy equipment and distribution infrastructure located in the production control room and central equipment area.
