Provision of consultation and development of guidelines for the public health management of syphilis that includes guidelines for management of cross-border infectious syphilis outbreaks, with an emphasis on rural and remote settings within Sounth Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.

In collaboration with and on behalf of the health departments from South Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland, the WA Department of Health requires the services of an independent consultant with the necessary skills to conduct a consultation with key stakeholders within the Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia to formulate a guideline for the public health management of syphilis, including a cross-jurisdictional infectious syphilis outbreak response plan.
The successful Respondent will be required to work consultatively with key stakeholders from Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.
In particular, the main focus for this project is to develop guidelines for the public health management of syphilis that would include guidelines for the management of cross-border infectious syphilis outbreaks, with an emphasis on rural and remote settings. The deliverables will be submitted for endorsement and use by the health departments in the Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.
