IMPLEMENT OHS SYSTEM GUIDES FOR EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE ROAD FREIGHT INDUSTRY IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Transport Training Advisory Board SA Inc seeks suitable consultants to undertake one or more of the stages to Implement OHS System Guides for Employer And Employees within the Road Freight Industry in South Australia. This project will contribute to achieving objective one from the Safer Industries Road Freight Transport Industry Strategic Plan. The project is funded by Workcover Corporation Grants Scheme and aims to contribute to the reduction of the industry levy rate by 20% by June 2001 through implementing effective OHS systems. This project will provide the framework to achieve a reduction in the incidence of work-related injury and disease. In addition the project will contribute to improved workplace relations and increased efficiency at the enterprise level. Three tenders are being offered: 1. 3 - Part 1 Desktop publish and print employer and employee OHS systems guide and resources. 2. Stage 3 - Part 2 Promote and implement OHS systems guides within road freight enterprise. 3. Stage 4 Evaluate the effectiveness of OHS systems guides implementation within workplaces.
