URRBRAE EDUCATION CENTRE STAGE 4

Stage 4 of the Urrbrae Education Centre redevelopment comprises refurbishment and conversion work to the existing gymnasium, the upgrading and fitting out of existing DMAC transportable units as a new home economics centre and a serviced classroom, the conversion of the former administration building to an arts complex, the provision of communication and security systems to these facilities and the construction of a walkway system between school buildings. Construction incorporates external siteworks, refurbishment of existing buildings and refitting of those buildings. Trades required will include but not necessarily be limited to concreting, brickwork, steelwork, plumbing, electrical/electronic, mechanical, joinery, carpeting and painting. Tenders will only be considered from DAIS tenderers who are Prequalified General Building Contractors in Category 3 at the time tenders close. Neither the lowest nor any tender will necessarily be accepted.
