Description
in conjunction with the Executive Commissioner of the Tasmanian Planning Commission, contact the remaining 24 local councils (who have not yet lodged their draft Local Provision Schedules (LPS), pursuant to section 35 of the Land Use Planning Approvals Act 1993; determine individual work programs for the preparation of their draft LPSs, including the assignment of members of the project team to assist, as required; oversee aspects of the management of work programs and the tasks undertaken by other Project team members – acting as Senior Consultant and Team Leader to the Project. This role will include managing risks and addressing issues and problems that might arise during the LPS preparation process; oversee a quality assurance process to ensure that draft LPSs comply with statutory requirements; and In relation to the Acceleration of Local Provision Schedules Project the Contracted Services are as follows: The Consultant must: attend Department of Justice LPS Steering Committee meetings, as required, as part of the reporting process to the Steering Committee and the Minister for Planning.
