Graytown and Puckapunyal General Building Works

The project involves general building works to items located within the Puckapunyal Military Area and Graytown. These works will ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

The works include but are not limited to the following:

Graytown
• The removal of the existing furnace and remedial works to the existing steel ‘associated‘ structure to the furnace and compliance access.
• Demolition works.

Puckapunyal
• Modifications to an existing concrete pathway and external access stair. New works include the supply and installation of ceramic floor tiles, tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI) and new compliant handrail.
• Bird proofing to wall mounted fittings.
• Removal and installation of a new graded asphalt pavement to a heavy vehicle garage area. Minor works to be undertaken for existing slab protection.
• Remedial works to existing door thresholds (total of five (5) doors) slabs and the installation of two (2) pedestrian service ramps.
• Refurbishment works to one door and two store rooms with Ceiling replacement.
• Fire safety works.
• Remedial works and new pedestrian (safety) path painting works.
• Remedial works to existing internal access stairs.
