Dayboro State School - Block D Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Block D Refurbishment at Dayboro SS, located at 58 McKenzie Street, Dayboro QLD 4521, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The scope includes refurbishing classrooms in Block B and Block D, new Outdoor Learning Area and new PWD Toilet. The refurbishment generally includes, extending the the GLA’s to incorporate the walkways, floor coverings, ceilings, lights and fans, teaching walls, new windows and doors, internal and external painting. The position of the building is at the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by June2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1Mill

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
