MASS 101/2/1- REQUEST FOR TENDER FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A STANDING OFFER ARRANGEMENT FOR THE TRIAL AND SUPPLY OF PATIENT LIFTING DEVICES

Tenders are invited for entering into a Standing Offer Arrangement for the Trial and Supply of Patient Lifting Devices, in accordance with the Conditions of this Request for Tender.

The Standing Offer Arrangement shall be on the account of the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS).

MASS provides Patient Lifting Devices to eligible clients of all ages, throughout Queensland, with wide ranging disabilities including (but not limited to) stroke, amputations and other neurological and musculo-skeletal conditions. These devices are subsidised primarily for use within the client’s home environment.

The selection of Patient Lifting Devices for a client depends on their clinical diagnosis and ability to operate the equipment in their home environment.

This Standing Offer Arrangement shall be for the purchase of basic, efficient and effective Patient Lifting Devices and will cater for the majority of Patient Lifting Devices subsidised by MASS.

Where necessary, MASS reserves the right to select more then one supplier of an item for each category.

The table below lists the selected product ranges relating to this Request for Tenders and is indicative of the MASS annual usage patterns based on figures for the previous twelve (12) months:
