Contract No. 24C187, Replacement of end-of-life perimeter protection at Dry Creek Railyard

The Depart for Infrastructure and Transport is seeking to establish a robust, AI-enhanced perimeter detection system capable of detecting, identifying, and tracking unauthorised personnel or intruders within the Dry Creek Rail Car Facility. Including real-time alerts into the 24/7 monitoring hub.

Any proposed systems must be compatible with all current Departmental security systems. In addition, work must be carried out in compliance with all related legislation, including the Rail Safety National Law, Act and Accreditation.

The scope of the procurement is detailed in the attached specification document, including details regarding:

• The core minimum scope to replace the end-of-life CCTV system and perimeter alarm system as well as to install the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system for gate access control.

• Secondary scope (optional) to obtain solutions for drone technology from detection to anti-drone solutions.

The contract will be offered for 6 months with a 6-month extension.

Purchase and delivery of all hardware will need to be completed by 30 June 2025.

Price and timeline for delivery of hardware and installation should be provided as two separate items within the tender response.
