Description
The Small Engine’s Test House (SETH); Building 24 at DSTO Fishermans Bend; contains a gas turbine test cell suitable for accommodating and operating small aeronautical gas turbine engines.The test cell is currently configured for testing on a low bypass turbofan engine.This project seeks to refurbish the test cell for installation of a GE T700-401 turboshaft helicopter engine.The engine shall be coupled with a Concepts NREC VAROC-35 air dynamometer, for ground running and act as a research test article.
