Description
The lift truck is required for loading and unloading trucks, moving test samples, unloading test samples, moving stressing jacks into calibration area and long term storage of test samples. This reduces the amount of manual handling on the site and also allows for the acceptance and testing of large stressing jacks.
Currently there are two lift trucks on site which are to be replaced to provide operational savings to TMR and improved efficiency. The nature of the site places some limits on the dimensions of the lift truck. It must be able to move under doors only 1960 mm high and through doors 1520 mm wide. It must also be able to lift 800 mm in an area with a ceiling on 2300 mm high.
