The City of Tea Tree Gully contains an Historic (Conservation) Zone - Tea Tree Gully Township containing approximately 70 properties including nine Contributory places, and there area 46 Local Heritage Places throughout the City.
Council is seeking the services of a Heritage Adviser to:
- Provide heritage conservation advice on matters affecting these places.
- Assist the City of Tea Tree Gully and the community in the effective management of these heritage assets which include buildings, sites, heritage landscapes, precincts, cemeteries, archaeological sites
- Provide additional advice to Council staff and Elected Members in relation to Council owned State Heritage Places where the allowable advice and budget provided by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources has been exhausted.
