Description

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) invites tenders for the provision of Australian Passport Information (Call Centre) Services (APIS). The call centre and all resources used in provision of the Services must be located in the State of Tasmania. The contract, to commence 27 March 2006, will be for a period of three years with an option to renew for two further periods of one year each.

The Contractor is to provide the accommodation, equipment and resources necessary for the following services:
a. receipt, resolution and/ or referral of enquires to DFAT;
b. despatch of passport forms on request to clients;
c. appointments for Passport Office interviews;
d. payments on-line for urgent issues and lost or stolen passport fees; and
e. respond to requests for travel information available on DFAT’s Smartraveller website .
