Community Education and Awareness Strategy

To prepare a statewide educational strategy for SA that includes components that will reach all sectors of the community. There is a need to increase awareness within the community of the importance of recycling and resource recovery, and to increase the participation of the general community in recycling (not just the number of people recycling, but also the amount of recycling by each household). There is also the need to improve the quality of recycled material, and to reduce contamination in recovered materials.
