Riverina Redevelopment Program – Invitation to Participate in Market Sounding

The Riverina Redevelopment Program (RRP) is a large-scale redevelopment of three key Defence Training Bases located in the Riverina Murray Valley region of NSW and Victoria.Defence intends to use a programmatic delivery methodology to maximise planning, approvals, construction and market efficiencies including with regard to the Government’s Local Industry Capability Plan and Indigenous Procurement Policy initiatives.

Defence invites potential tenderers to provide feedback its potential development and delivery strategy currently being considered for implementation. Feedback from potential tenderers with the organisational experience, capability and capacity to deliver the RRP will then inform finalisation of Defence’s approach.

The services include the design and, subject to approvals, the construction of infrastructure and facilities in respect to three separately funded Redevelopment Projects:

• EST02021 Albury Wodonga Military Area Redevelopment
• EST02023 Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) Redevelopment
• EST02025 RAAF Base Wagga Redevelopment

The initial Contract Phase services include design and related services including cost estimation and construction programming in respect of:

• Stormwater
• Sewage
• Fuel Storage and Distribution
• Gas Reticulation
• Vehicle and Pedestrian access
• Facilities:
• Living In Accommodation
• Messing
• Training Accommodation
• Working Accommodation
• Warehousing
• Military Live Fire Training Range
• EO Storage Facilities
• Demolitions

The initial Contract Phase includes Environmental, Heritage and Contamination professional services
