Refrigeration, Air conditioning and Heat Pump equipment maintenance and leak management

To produce a report that identifies maintenance and leak prevention actions in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment that can contribute to Australia achieving a reduction of direct and indirect emissions of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2 e). As part of the 2014-2016 review of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas program, the Australian Government identified the maintenance and leak prevention program as a non-regulatory measure that could contribute to the reduction of these emissions by up to 35 million tonnes by 2030. Overall, the review aimed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas program.
