Description
The existing Mount Laura Waste Resource Recovery Centre (WRRC) has been owned and operated by the Whyalla City Council for a number of years. The Council now wishes to consider options for the delivery of waste management and disposal services to Whyalla City Council. The process will be to seek Expressions of Interest, followed by a Council decision whether or not to proceed to the next step, followed if necessary by a public consultation process and finally if appropriate a formal Request for Tenders (select or open). The overall timeline for this process will depend on Council decision at each step.
