INTRODUCTION
Kangaroo Island Council has included the construction of new kerbing in the 2016-17 Capital Works Program. This work is aimed at completing unfinished areas of kerbing in the Kingscote township to improve drainage and the amenity.
Streets included in the works include;
• Centenary Ave
• Rawson Street
• Giles Street
• Franklin Street
• Wheaton Street
• Rofe Street
• Telegraph Road
Removal of existing kerb and preparation work needs to be undertaken prior to the kerbing contractor commencing on site.
Works Timing
Council is looking for the works to commence early January 2017 with the kerbing contractor to commence 23 January 2017 be completed by 13 February 2017. Backfilling and earthworks will commence early February 2017 once the kerbing contractor is completed.
