- Interface of existing ATS control system to operate with the new EPG

- Additional lighting to nominated Wards
- Updating schedules, labels, circuit identification and miscellaneous work associated with new and modified existing services
- Testing and commissioning of all of the new works, including sections of the existing services where interfacing and interconnections have been undertaken
All work including associated building work (BWIC) forms part of the electrical contractor’s scope.
The upgrade works will be undertaken in an existing operational facility, some parts of which requires power to be available and maintained continuously and also parts of which require access and disruption to occupants, as well as disturbance to patients, to be kept to an absolute minimum.
Ensure that all work minimizes impact on the building occupants.
Plan all potentially disruptive work and coordinate such work with the Nominated Hospital Liaison Officer. Timing of such upgrade works is critical to maintain a safe and fully functioning healthcare facility and management of this forms part of the contractors responsibility. Wherever any of the upgrade works isolates power to critical operations at the facility, provide and connect power from a temporary portable generator until such time as the permanent works are completed and reconnected.
