Description
The Ministerial Wing Support section in Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (M&PS), Department ofFinance and Deregulation, is responsible for the day-to-day facility management of the Ministerial Wing at Parliament House including the coordination of maintenance services, which includes accommodation management, building operations and maintenance services, asset management (furniture and fittings), security, car parking, non-secure telecommunications and contract administration.The main task of the M&P's Ministerial Wing Support section is to ensure the provision of a timely, efficient and effective service to Ministers and their staff based in Parliament House.
Suites within the Ministerial Wing are reserved for the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Treasurer, Leader of the House and Leader of the Government in the Senate.Allocation of the remaining 25 suites is the responsibility of the Special Minister of State, following consultation with the Prime Minister and leaders of the Government in both Chambers.
Finance is seeking to appoint a Service Provider that will carry out minor repairs, relocations and upkeep work in the Ministerial Wing at Parliament House. This includes Asset Management, office rearrangement, and replacement and repairs of furniture and fittings.
