Headquarters Training Command-Army invites responses to a Request for Tender (RFT) for the part commercial delivery of Advanced Medical Training including the Advanced Medical Assistant Course (AMAC), Military Advanced First Aid Course (MARC) and Patrol Advanced First Aid Course (PAFA) for the Australian Army.
Description of Requirement
The Army Logistic Training Centre require a Registered Training Organisation to deliver specific theory and procedural module based lessons of the AMAC, MARC and PAFA at Health Services Wing (HSW), Army School of Administration and Health (ASAH), Latchford Barracks, Bonegila, Victoria and also the clinical Placement for Students at civilian medical/hospital facilities for the AMAC.
The aim of the AMAC is to prepare personnel as an Advanced Medical Assistant (AMA) within the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The MARC is to prepare Nursing and Dental Officers for employment in triage and resuscitation with the ADF. The PAFA Course is to prepare selected specialist soldiers for employment in limited advanced trauma skills and to provide primary health care capability in remote locations.
Period of Contract
The contract is required to commence on 30 April 2007, for an adjusted period of just less than three (3) years to 20 November 2009 with the option to extend the period to 20 November 2011.

An Industry Briefing and site tour will be held at HSW, ASAH, Latchford Barracks, Bonegila, VIC, on Friday 23 February 2007, commencing at 10.00am. All interested potential suppliers are encouraged to attend.
