Aldridge SHS - Block J Roof (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block J Roof at Aldridge SHS, located at 47 Boys Avenue, Maryborough QLD 4560, as part of the R&R program.

The scope of work comprises of the demolition of the existing roof sheeting, re-pitching of the roof with new structural framing, new roof sheeting, fascia, gutters, relocation of the a/c condensers from the roof to ground, etc.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1m

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
