Description
Mid Murray Council is inviting tenders for the collection of kerbside garbage from various locations across the Council region. The Council is seeking to introduce a new collection contract that better accords with best practice standards, and accordingly, the Council has resolved to seek tenders from appropriately qualified contractors.
It is intended that the Contract to be awarded for a period of five years with an option for the Council to extend that period for up to five further years
Prospective tenderers are strongly encouraged to attend a briefing session at 9.00 am Thursday 16th August 2007 at Mid Murray Council, 49 Adelaide Road. Detailed maps of location of MGB other than household pickups will be available at the briefing
