Audit of Compliance against the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 with Guidelines (as amended)

This Contract is a Schedule of Prices Contract for the development of a sampling methodology which will be used for an audit of compliance and the provision of a report on the estimated costs of ensuring all State Government owned assets under the direction of the Minister and used by the travelling public will comply with the Disability Transport Standards in accordance with this Brief, Appendix 1, Appendix 2, Appendix 3 and General Conditions for Engagement of Consultants – AS4122.

The Consultant shall be responsible for the following work under this Contract:

·Develop a sampling methodology to conduct an audit on the infrastructure and conveyances used by the travelling public and;

• Identify and prepare a report on estimated cost to upgrade the infrastructure and conveyances used by the travelling public which will be based on the sampling methodology.

A briefing will commence in Room 1 at Transport SA, Walkerville on Monday, 13 December 2004 at 10am. The briefing is to clarify any requirements of the Contract. Attendance at the meeting by the Tenderer or a competent representative of the Tenderer is a condition precedent to the submission of a tender.
