Description
This project seeks to seeking Request for Proposals to procure the detailed design services and installation (works) of low flow solutions on privately owned properties with dams in the Mount Lofty Ranges region. These solutions aim to reinstate more natural flow patterns in South Australia’s Mount Lofty Ranges, particularly during periods of low flow, to keep the region’s catchments healthy.
The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources in conjunction with the Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges and SA Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resource Management Boards are seeking a range of innovative solutions for passing low flows of water to measure the efficacy of such systems, any potential issues arising from their operation, as well as the hydrological and ecological outcomes of their implementation.
