Description

Each year the Department of Health must dispose of expired product held within the National Medical Stockpile.

This arrangement seeks to establish Deed of Standing Offer with licensed waste management companies for the destruction of expired, damaged or unused medical goods at the rest of the Department on an as required basis.

Under the Deed of Standing Offer, the Department of Health will confirm their actual requirements by entering into an Official Order for each financial year against exact disposal requirements
