Description

OZ Minerals (OZM) is currently operating a number of different data systems independently of one another which often have difficulty/do not synchronise. The collation of data and metrics is vital to operational success and OZM is looking for support in setting up a system which can:
- efficiently collate data; and
- provide a platform to use data for analysis and reporting.


SCOPE OF WORK

OZM requires a self-service dashboard and reporting tool that will be:
- flexible in order to manage change and suit requirements of OZM
- secure, reliable, and easy to maintain and operate
- operated using either Power BI or Tableau platforms.

Overview

BHP works in more than 90 locations including throughout Australia, Chile, the United States and Canada. Our Australian business produces iron ore, copper, coal and nickle from operations in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.

Our South Australian Operations consist of three primary mine assets being Carrapateena, Prominent Hill and Olympic Dam, containing some of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium.

Carrapateena produces copper concentrate and is one of the largest mining projects in South Australia in the last decade. The Carrapateena Operation is located 472 kilometers north-west of Adelaide, South Australia and is located on the traditional land of the Kokatha people.

Prominent Hill produces one of the highest grades of copper concentrate in the world. The Prominent Hill Operation is located 650 kilometers north-west of Adelaide, South Australia, and is located on the traditional lands of the Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara people.
