Description

The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) requires approximately 40 casual Exam Supervisors to assist with the Mines Statutory Position Exam delivery project. As outlined in the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, individuals in statutory positions must have the necessary knowledge, experience, and formal qualifications to perform specific roles at mining operations. For most of these positions, this includes passing a WHS legislation examination administered by DEMIRS. We anticipate around 25,000 candidates needing to complete the exam by the transition deadline of 30th March 2026.
