Develop Resources and assessments for the Certificate II in Building and Construction Technical Support (52922WA)

The successful contractor will undertake the development of the resources and assessments, for the newly accredited Certificate II in Building and Construction Technical Support. The final material which will be mapped to the 10 units of competence listed below: The relevant Units of Competency, include: BCSCOR201 – Work Effectively in building and construction support roles.BCSCOR202 – Apply sustainability principles in building and construction process.BCSIND201 – Apply building and construction industry information.BCSIND202 – Source and apply information on building and construction processes, materials, and equipment.BCSIND203 – Undertake application of building codes and standards to residential and commercial buildings.BCSTEC201 – Use CAD software templates to produce 2D and 3D building and construction drawings.BSBTEC201 – Use business software applications.BCSEDS201 – Undertake basic estimation and costing from contract documents.BCSEDS203 – Assist with building and construction scheduling.VU23153 – Explore evolving technology and impact on jobs. In developing the training and assessment material for the ten units of competence the successful contractor will: Work with the CTF and relevant TAFE colleges to prioritise the development of the units. This will be influenced by the sequence in which they are scheduled for delivery.Work with the TAFES to develop training materials (in a booklet or online) mapped to the units.Work with the TAFES to develop all required assessment materials mapped to the unit and validated.Sequence the handover of the final product so that they ready in advance of their timetabled delivery. Three core units need to be ready for the commencement of Semester 1 delivery 2025 on (3 February 2025). The remainder of the training and assessment material should be completed by (15 April 2025) Beginning of term 2. Keep the CTF informed of the progress of the development in a monthly meeting.
