Standing Offer Arrangement for the provision of Specialist Allied Health Services in accordance with the framework of the Specialist Response Service

The Department of Communities (Disability Services) invites experienced practicing health professionals in the fields of Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Behavioural Science, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Social Work and other Allied Health Services to a Standing Offer Arrangement to provide as required contracted clinical services.

In conjunction with Specialist Response Service regional teams or Relevant Service Providers (Government and/or Non –Government), clinicians will be required to undertake specialised assessments and or the development of Positive Behaviour Support Plans or Respite and Community Access Plans for adults with an intellectual or cognitive disability who exhibit severely challenging behaviour

It is a mandatory requirement offerors to this arrangement have clinical experience in relation to persons with an intellectual or cognitive disability who exhibit severely challenging behaviour, is in receipt of a Tertiary Degree in their relevant discipline and holds, or is eligible to hold, full registration in their relevant discipline in Queensland.
